SWAT COLLEGE OF NURSING is committed to produce Baccalaureate and Specialist nurses to foster learning and intellectual development such as to enhance the core competencies; knowledge, skills, attitude and behavior of the nursing professionals under the supervision of highly qualified teachers and Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Swat College of Nursing (SCN) is committed to be recognized as a center of excellence for nursing education, training, research, leadership and support at local, national and regional level.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COLLEGE
1. To provide education and training along a lifelong learning continuum to enable individuals to realize their full potential to meet the needs of a wide range of health and social care professionals locally and regionally.
2. To upgrade the educational standards of existing schools of Nursing of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as required by the Professional Statutory bodies i.e. PNC.
3. To continue to build collaborative research links locally, nationally and internationally by attracting the best researchers to shape and develop our research and teaching agenda.
4. To work with partners including Professional Statutory Bodies, Strategic Health Authorities, and the independent and voluntary sectors, to pursue education and research activities that accord with the health and social care agenda.
5. To continue to work in close partnership with staff and students to embed a positive attitude to continuing professional development by providing advice and guidance throughout all stages in their learning and development.
6. To pay particular attention to maintaining the high quality standards required by the Professional Statutory Bodies and the University.
