Dear students !
It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you at Swat College of Nursing, Saidu Sharif Swat. Swat College of Nursing is offering Post RN BScN, Generic BScN and one-year specialty program with the aim to start MSc Nursing program in near future. As it is obvious that every discipline in the world experiences a state of continuous change in order to meet the challenges of the time, and the same notion is true and pivotal for the nursing profession just because it deals with health of individuals and hence the health and prosperity of a nation.
As we believe that nurses are the backbone of any health care organization so we provide a state of art, high quality and cost effective nursing education at an excellent level, because quality and quantity of life is directly proportional with health and health care profession cannot be improved without improvement of nursing education. So looking at the current dynamic challenges, demands and upgrading standards of nursing profession locally and globally, the SWAT COLLEGE OF NURSING took a move in the form of a transition in nursing education programs, by upgrading nursing education from diplomas to graduate programs. The college is presently offering baccalaureate programs, which will provide an opportunity to our younger and senior nurses respectively to continue their education in order to meet the current international standards in nursing profession and avail job opportunities on different positions.
I am hopeful that our faculty will be dedicated towards this end and optimistic that the prospective students will avail this opportunity with a great zeal and enthusiasm. Again I am glad and hopeful that this step forward by our institution will become a dawn of new dimension for the profession of nursing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”.
